About Me
About a year ago, I realized that there was a raised bump behind my ear. I thought it was just a section of thickened skin at first, but upon further inspection it looked like a colorless mole. I went to the dermatologist to have it checked out, and he said that I should have it removed. The pathology results came back as a neurofibroma, which meant that it was a benign tumor that had grown along a nerve shaft. I was glad that it was removed, and I wanted to make a blog encouraging others to take a harder look at their lumps and bumps. Read more about dermatology and best skin practices on this blog.
